Tutor


Program:
Anchor House
Volunteer Activities: Assist OceanMHS Consumers in completion of homework assignments and enhance study skills.
Availability: 2 – 4 Hours/Week, Weekday Evenings, Weekend Anytime

Clerical Assistant


Program:
Crisis Diversion
Volunteer Activities: Clerical Support
Availability: 2-4 hours/week, Monday – Thursday Morning or Afternoon

Photographer


Program:
Administration
Volunteer Activities: Photograph OMHS activities and events for website and newsletters
Availability: 2-4 hours/month, various hours

Writer


Program:
Administration
Volunteer Activities: Write articles for the website and community newsletters. May involve interviewing staff or consumers, researching mental health topics and/or editing articles written by others.
Availability: 4-6 hours/month, various hours

Clerical Assistant


Program:
Children’s Services
Volunteer Activities: Organizing storage, hanging curtains, creating resource binders, etc.
Availability: 4-6 hours/week, Monday-Friday Morning or Afternoon

Receptionist/Clerical Assistant


Program:
Bayside
Volunteer Activities: Greet consumers, families and visitors filing, billing, assist with some paperwork and help program locate speakers
Availability: 3-5 hours/day, 1-5 days/week, Monday-Friday Morning or Afternoon

Volunteer Liaison


Program:
Administration
Volunteer Activities: Engage and recruit local area businesses to accept consumer volunteers and act as liaison between the OceanMHS and the business.
Availability: 4-6 hours/week, various

Visiting Companion


Program:
Outreach
Volunteer Activities: Visit Consumers in their homes to provide companionship and encourage the use of community services and activities
Availability: 2-10 hours/week, various

Community Assistant


Program:
SHARE/PATH/Diversion programs
Volunteer Activities: Access, pickup and deliver food baskets to consumers
Availability: 5-15 hours/week, various

Clerical Assistant


Program:
Project Recovery
Volunteer Activities: Medical Record Filing
Availability: 6-15 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 9-3

Receptionist/Clerical Assistant
